After the success of last year's inaugural event, we will be staging our second ProStraw Systems Open Day on Wednesday 25th April at Grove Farm in Barrow. It's a great opportunity for those in the straw and cereals industry to see some of the latest machinery and technology on display, view practical demonstrations, talk to experts, as well as an invaluable chance to meet fellow industry colleagues and friends.
We will have an impressive line-up of machinery and technology retailers, industry experts, manufacturers, and other agricultural businesses in attendance. You'll be able to meet Søren Svenningsen from Parkland Maskinfabrik, the Danish manufacturers of the Agro-Master Bale Accumulators. You can find out more about the Protimeter Balemaster moisture meter from Martin Lishman. There'll be representatives on hand from the likes of Ernest Doe, Thurlow Nunn Standen, Pecks, Claydon Drills, Big Bale North, ProCam, Cordex, Whitewater Finance, British Hay & Straw Merchants, plus many more still to be announced in the coming weeks.
To give you a flavour of last year's event, please have a look at the video below. We really can promise you a fun and worthwhile day out, however we can't make any promises on the weather just yet though!! There'll be plenty of hot beverages and chocolate biscuits, some "chilled refreshments" thanks to Cotesi and a delicious hog roast courtesy of Evison Brothers.
There's free entry and parking on the day at Grove Farm. To find us, we're on Colethorpe Lane, Barrow, near Bury St Edmunds... just pop IP29 5BE in to your sat-nav. We look forward to welcoming you to our Suffolk headquarters, and meantime if you know of any friends or colleagues who'd like to come along, please do spread the word!
Discover the benefits of operating a Parkland Bale Accumulator with your baler at harvest time. With the increasing demand from farmers for controlled traffic on their land, the addition of a bale accumulator facilitates a reduction of compaction on the land, as well as clearing bales from the fields in the most efficient way possible, whilst causing the least amount of damage with that controlled traffic systems in mind.
We are the exclusive importers throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland, of the complete range of Parkland Agro-Master Bale Accumulators. For more information and enquiries, please contact Paddy Reed on 07768 353910 or email email@example.com
We're always looking to purchase good quality wheat, barley, and rape straw. If you have some to sell right now, contact us and you could win a ProStraw stack sheet system of your very own. The best prices are always paid for your straw, so contact Paddy Reed today on 07768 353910 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org, and once a deal is done we'll enter your details in to the prize draw.
The more straw you sell to us, the more entries you'll have in the draw. The competition is open until 31st March 2018, and the winner of the grand prize draw to win the ProStraw stack sheet cover system will be announced at our Open Day at Grove Farm, Barrow, on Wednesday 25th April.
Having continually experienced the frustrations and expense of water-wasted straw bales, the father and son team set about designing a unique mechanised sheeting system that would cover straw-stacks safely, and protect their valuable stock from the worst of the wet weather. Their method of application was launched to great acclaim at the ‘Cereals’ industry event in 2016, and so ProStraw Systems was born.
As well as Paddy and Will’s long-time core businesses of Agricultural Contractors and Straw Merchants, they are also the exclusive importers of Parkland Bale Accumulators throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. This new technology has been designed with controlled traffic farming in mind, and could revolutionise your harvest-time regime saving you both time and money.
Harvest time can demand some long days and many many hours of hard work during the summer. However, by using a Parkland bale accumulator behind your baler, you can maintain controlled traffic on your fields and could clear bales in less than half the time it traditionally takes.
